Faculty Fifth-Year Committee
The Faculty Fifth-Year Committee will work in concert with the Fifth-Year Leadership Team by reviewing, discussing, and making recommendations for improved UT Dallas policies and/or processes in relation to the faculty Principles of Accreditation when applicable. The committee’s co-chairs will also serve on the Fifth-Year Leadership Team.
The Faculty Fifth-Year Committee will meet at least twice during the fall and spring semesters, beginning in January 2022 and ending in February 2024, and will determine whether additional meetings are needed. The committee will inform how UT Dallas considers the Principles in the context of its evolving infrastructure, by discussing relevant topics, such as appropriate faculty size, coherent programs of study, and adequate academic and student support services offered by UT Dallas.
Dr. Serenity Rose King, chair of the Fifth-Year Leadership Team, will provide context and clarification if invited by the committee to attend a future meeting. Vy Trang will also provide technical support as needed.
